Removal and Replacement Procedures

2.Remove the four PM2.0 × 4.0 screws 1 that secure the TouchPad bracket to the top cover (Figure 5-27).

3.Disconnect the TouchPad cable 2 from the low insertion force (LIF) connector on the TouchPad.

4.Slide the TouchPad bracket toward the back of the top cover 3.

5.Lift the TouchPad bracket straight up 4 and remove it.
