Removal and Replacement Procedures

✎Dual Stick notebook models have an additional cable that must be disconnected. Release the ZIF connector 1 to which the keyboard-to-TouchPad cable is attached and disconnect the cable 2 from the TouchPad (Figure 5-29).

✎The keyboard-to-TouchPad cable is included in the Miscellaneous Cable Kit, spare part number 285540-001.

11.Remove the palm rest from the base enclosure. Reverse the preceding procedures to install the palm rest.
