The fastest way to free up a
Full Erase
To make sure that all data on a disc is completely destroyed, use the FULL ERASE method. This procedure takes about ten minutes to complete - much longer than QUICK ERASE - and is generally used only for discs containing sensitive data.

Start the Erase Operation
Use the RIGHT ARROW key to select the Quick
Erase or Full Erase
icon and press ENTER to start the operation. You will be prompted to confirm the operation or cancel as shown to the left. Choose the CHECK MARK to begin, or the X to cancel.
