4Remove the display assembly latch by removing the two M2.5 x 5-mm screws that secure it to the display-assembly top cover.

NOTICE: Do not remove the display assembly latch from 14.1-inch SXGA+ and 12.1-inch display panels. If the latch is damaged, replace the display-assembly top cover.
