Setting the Ext. In Subwoofer Level

Set the method of playback of the analog input signal connected to the Ext.In Subwoofer.

At the System Setup Menu select “Ext.In Subwoofer Level”.

Switch to the Ext.In Subwoofer Level screen.

Select the desired setting.

Select according to the specifications of the player being used. Also refer to the player’s operating instructions. +15dB (default) recommended. (0, +5, 10 and +15 can be selected.)

Enter the setting.

The System Setup Menu reappears.

Setting the Auto Surround Mode

The surround mode used at last for the four types of input signals shown below is stored in the memory, and the signal is automatically played with that surround mode the next time it is input.

Note that the surround mode setting is also stored separately for the different input sources.

qAnalog and PCM 2-channel signals

w2-channel signals of Dolby Digital, DTS or other multi-channel format

e Multi-channel signals of Dolby Digital, DTS or other multi-channel format r Multi-channel signal when conducting playback using the EXT.IN

During playback in the PURE DIRECT mode, the surround mode does not change even if the input signal is changed.
