Using the internal sound generator
Selecting the type of part (INST/DRUM)
Here’s how to select the type (Part Mode) for each part.
*Inst Type can be executed only if the sound generator mode is GM2 mode or Native mode.

1.Press [INST].
The button will light.
2.Press [PAGE 
] until the display indicates Inst Type.
3.Turn the [VALUE] dial to select the desired part mode (INST or DRUM).
The part mode has now been selected.
4.Press [INST] once again to return to the basic screen.
