Chapter 6 Power Saving Functions6-1. Setting Power Save
This function allows you to specify whethe r to set the monitor in the power saving mode, depending on the st ate of
an external device connecte d to it. When the monitor has shifted to the power savi ng mode, the images on the
screen are not displayed.
Attention
• Turni ng off the main power switch or unplugging t he power cord completely shuts off power supply to the monitor.
• W hen the monitor is in power saving mode, device s connected to the USB downstre am port will still work. The refore, the
power consumption of the monitor varie s with the connected devices even i n the power saving mode.
• Five seconds b efore the monitor enters the power saving mode, it d isplays a preliminary messa ge.
Procedure
1. Choose “ PowerManager” from the Adjustment menu, and press .
2. Choose “ Power Save” from “PowerManager”, and press .
3. Select “On” or “Of f” with or .
4. Pre ss to exit.
Power Saving System
When the external device connected is a PC
At DVI signal input
This monitor complies with the “DVI DMPM” standa rd.
At DisplayPort signal input
This monitor complies with the “DisplayPort Standa rd V1.1a”.

If the monitor receives input, it automatically exits the power saving mo de and returns to the normal d isplay
mode.
