7-1. How to Attach the Optional Arm

An optional arm (or an optional stand) can be attached by re moving the stand section. (The stand is not supplied
with RX430-FC.)
Attention
• When at taching an arm or stand , follow the instructions of their Use r’s Manual.
• When usi ng another manufacture r’s arm or stand, conrm the followin g in advance and select one conformi ng to the
VESA standard.
- Clearance between the screw holes: 200 mm × 100 m m
- Thickness of plate: 2.6 mm
- Strong enough to support weight of the monitor u nit (except the stand) and attachment s such as cables.
• Use the screws as de scribed below.
- RX430/RX430-AR: The screws xing the sta nd to the monitor and the screws supplied w ith this monitor.
- RX430-FC: The screws supplied with this monitor (M4 × 12mm , 6 pcs.: black)
• When usi ng an arm or stand, atta ch it to meet the following tilt angles of the monitor.
- Up 45°, down 45°
• Connect t he cables after attaching a n arm or stand.
• Do not move the removed stan d up and down. Doing so may result in injur y or device damage.
• The monitor a nd arm or stand are heavy. Dropping t hem may result in injury or equip ment damage.
• When set ting the monitor to the port rait style, turn the monit or screen 90° in clockwise dir ection.

Procedure

1. Lay the LCD monitor on a soft cloth spread over on a stable surface with the

panel surface facing down.

Remove the stand.

Prepare a screwdriver. Loosen the screws (four) securing the unit and t he stand with the screwdriver.

3.

Attach the arm or stand to the monitor.

Secure the monitor to the arm or stand usi ng the screws specied in the User’s Manual of the arm or stand.
