SPECIAL OPERATIONS

TO VISUALLY SEARCH FORWARD (CUE)

Press the FF key once in the PLAYBACK mode.

Then, the tape advances rapidly with the picture.

If you re-press the FF key, the tape advances more rapidly with the picture.

Press the PLAY key to resume playback. No sound will be heard during Cue.

TO VISUALLY SEARCH BACKWARD (REVIEW)

Press the REW key once in the PLAYBACK mode.

Then, the tape is rewound rapidly with picture. If you re-press the REW key, the tape rewinds more rapidly with picture.

Press the PLAY key to resume playback. No sound will be heard during Review.

TO WATCH STILL PICTURE

Press the P/S key during playback to pause the tape. If this key is pressed again, it lets you view one frame with each press of the key.

• V-HOLD: Press the CH/TRK or key to eliminate picture shakiness in the STILL mode.

TO WATCH SLOW MOTION PLAYBACK

You can view a tape during Play-Pause using slow motion. •Press SLOW or P/S key and then press FF/REW key. •Press FF/REW to speed up or down slow motion playback.

The VCR switches automatically from slow motion playback to stop after a few minutes. To reduce the noise bars, press the CH/TRK or key.

DIGITAL TRACKING CONTROLS

When a tape is played, the Digital Auto Tracking System automatically adjusts the tracking to obtain the best possible picture.

If noise bars appear during playback, adjust the tracking manually.

• Press the CH/TRK or key to obtain the best possible picture.
