OVERLAPPING TIMER RECORDINGS

When setting the Programmable Timer care should be taken to prevent the times from overlapping. If one preset time starts before a program that is being recorded has finished, the recording of the first program will be continued. After the first recording, the recording of the second program will be started.

TIMER PROGRAMMING ERROR INDICATOR

When the loaded cassette does not have a safety tab in place in the Timer Stand-by mode, the “ ” will appear on the display panel and then a cassette without a safety tab will be ejected

automatically.

The TIMER indicator “ ” only disappears when you press the POWER key during the timer recording process.

NOTE:

When the “ ” indicator is displayed in the timer Stand-by mode, the VCR cannot be operated manually as no keys will operate in the Timer Stand-by mode.

To release the Timer Stand-by mode, press the Power key and use the VCR as usual. Pressing Power key again will return the VCR to Timer.
