10BASE-T Network

When connecting a 10BASE‐TX segment to one of the RJ45 fixed ports (1 through 24 on the A2H123‐24), ensure that the network meets the Ethernet network requirements of the IEEE 802.3‐2005 standard for 10BASE‐TX. Refer to the Cabling Guide for details.

Note: If an RJ45 port is to operate at 100 Mbps, Category 5 cabling must be used.

Category 3 cabling does not meet the 100 Mbps specifications. Refer to 100BASE-TX
