Output short-circuit current IOS is the maximum current that flows when the output pin is connected to VDDE or VSS (within the maximum rating) . The current is “the short-circuit current per differential output pin.” As the USB I/O buffer is a differential output, the short-circuit current should be considered for both of the output pins.
