■Selecting the file option

Specify the type of file for the scanned image.

Click the drop-down arrow to select the file format. You can select one of the fol- lowing.

•PDF (*.pdf)

•JPEG (*.jpg)

ATTENTION

"JPEG" setting is not available when "Auto Color Detection," "B&W," or "Color high compression" is selected in the [Color mode] drop-down list on the [Scan- ning] tab, or when "ScanSnap Organizer" is selected in the [Application] drop- down list.

The file format is automatically changed to "PDF" when you select "Auto Color Detection" or "B&W."
