Choosing a Multi-Channel Sound (MTS) Soundtrack

Depending on the particular program being broadcast, you can listen to Stereo, Mono, or a Secondary Audio Program (SAP). SAP audio is usually a foreign-language translation, although sometimes it has unrelated information like news or weather.

Shortcut: Press the MTS button.

● The MTS mode changes to STEREO ➔ MONO ➔ SAP mode.

Press the MENU button.

● The OSD MENU is displayed.

Select SOUND SETUP using the

TV CH+/- buttons and then press the

VOL+ button.

Select MTS using the TV CH+/- buttons and then press the VOL+ button.

Press the TV CH+/- buttons.

● The MTS mode is changed to

STEREO ➔ MONO ➔ SAP.

● Press the EXIT button to exit the menu.

SOUND MODES

•Choose STEREO for channels that are broadcasting in stereo.

•Choose MONO for channels that are broadcasting in mono, or if you are having difficulty receiving a stereo signal.

•Choose SAP to listen to the Secondary Audio Program, which is usually a foreign-language translation.
