Using the V-Chip
Operation
The V-Chip feature automatically blocks programming that is deemed inappropriate for
children. The user must first enter a password before any of the V-Chip restrictions can be set up
or changed. Note: The V-chip doesn’t function when the Picture-in-Picture is active.
Press the MENU button.
●The OSD MENU is displayed.
Select FUNCTION SETUP using the
TV CH+/- buttons and then press the
VOL+ button.
Select V-CHIP using the TV CH+/-
buttons and then press the
VOL+ button.
●The “Enter Password” screen will appear.
Enter your 4-digit password. The default
password for a new TV set is “0-0-0-0.”
After entering a valid password, the
“V-CHIP SETUP” screen will appear.
