Follow the
•Limit the opening and closing of the door on hot and humid days. When you open the door, close it quickly to prevent hot air from entering.
•Check regularly for proper air circulation around the unit to make sure that the unit receives sufficient airflow.
•Keep the door gasket clean and straight to ensure a proper seal. If the door gasket is not sealed properly, hot air may easily enter into the unit, making the interior temperature warmer. The compressor must then run continuously to keep the unit cool, thus making the energy consumption very high and inefficient.
Note: Replace a damaged door gasket to restore energy efficiency.
