ADDING SPECIAL EFFECTS (EDIT - FADE)

You can add fading to the beginning and/or end of scene.

There are three types of special effects:

Fade Out Fade Out Fade Out

Fade In	Fade In	Fade In
White:	Wipe:	B/W:
Fades in from white screen	Fades in from black screen to	Fades in from Black and White
Fades out to white screen	vertical direction of screen	screen to color screen
	Fades out from vertical	Fades out from color screen to
	direction of screen to black	Black and White screen
	screen

Press the DISC NAVIGATION button.

Select the scene for adding special effects.

Press the MENU button.

Choose, “Scene”, “Edit”,	Sc e n e
“Fade” and then press the
	De l e t e	Thumb n a i l
￿button.	Ed i t	S k i p
	Copy	F ade
	Se l e c t	Comb i ne
The “Fade Set” screen will	De t a i l	D i v i d e
	ETC	Mo v e	RAM
appear: If you are sure	ENTER RETURN
you want to add the fade
effect to the scene, press the ￿button.

7 Press the ￿button to quit.

The “*” and/or “+” mark(s) will appear in the scenes for which special effects have been set.

If you want to change the scene to which fade is added, you can change it on this screen.

for “IN” and/or “OUT”,	F a d e
	I N
choose “Enter”, and then	None	Wh i t e Wi pe		B / W
press the ￿button.	OUT
	None	Wh i t e Wi pe		B / W
			En t e r	Canc e l
To cancel setting, choose	ENTER
“Cancel”.
After setting, the “Fade Set” screen will be
restored.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 to add fade to other scenes.
