INSTALLING USB DRIVER

Use the following procedure to install the USB driver:

1 If you add a USB card (PCI card, PC card, etc.) on your PC, do it following the instruction manual for USB card, before connecting the DVD video camera/recorder to PC.

2 Insert the provided CD-ROM into PC, set the power switch of DVD video camera/recorder to “￿VIDEO“, and then use the provided PC connection cable to connect the DVD video camera/recorder to the USB terminal of PC.

3 The Hardware Wizard will start: Choose “Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)”, and then click “Next” (a figure will appear when Windows® XP is used).

4 Choose “Search for best driver in these locations”, check “Include this location in the search:”, and then specify the folder to be browsed:

With Windows® Me:

D:\USB2\WinMe

With Windows® 98 Second Edition:

D:\USB2\Win98

(D: shows the name of drive into which the CD- ROM is inserted.)
