Viewing the Connections
HDMI Input are for connecting a device that has an HDMI sock et.
Your LCD Television is capab le of displaying High Definition pi ctures from devices such as a
High Definition Satellite Recei ver or DVD Player. These devices must be co nnected via the
HDMI sockets or Component Socket. These sockets can accept either 720p or 1080i signals.
No sound connection is needed for an HDMI to HDMI conn ection. If you us e HDMI to DVI
cable, use PC audio in in put to enable sound connec tion.
Audio Line Outs output audio signals to an externa l device such as an op tional sound
system.
To connect the external speakers to yo ur TV, use AUDIO LINE OUT of the TV with an audi o
cable.
Headp hone ja ck is use d for co nnect ing an ex terna l head phon e to the sy stem.
Connect to the HEA DPHONE jack to list en to the TV fro m headphones (optio nal).
Component Video Inputs (YPbPr) are used for connecting component video.
You can connect the component video and audi o sockets with a device that has comp onent
output. Connect the comp onent video cables be tween the COMPONENT VIDEO INP UTS on
on the TV and the component video outputs of your device. While connecting, be su re that the
letters on your TV, “Y”, “Pb”, “Pr” correspond with your device’s connectors.
Note that “Y” input also functions as CVBS Video In jack.Th is means th at you can connect
devices such as a camcorder to your TV by using CVBS Video In jack. Connect the video cable
