Initial Settings
When the TV set is operated for the fir st time,
the IDTV turns on first.
Because this is the first time the TV is used, there
are no channels stored in the memory and the
following message appears on the screen:
Please ensure aerial is plugged in. Do you
want to start first time installation?
Yes No
• To start installation process, select “Yes”,
to cancel select “No”.
• To select the “Yes” or “No” option,highlight
the item by using or buttons and press
the OK button.
The IDTV will automatically tune to the UHF
transmision channels 21 to 68 , searching for
digital terrestrial TV broadcasts and displaying
the names of channels found. Thi s process
will t ake ab out f ive mi nut es. To ca ncel
searching, you can press the M button at any
time during the process .

General Operation
Pressing the TV or DTV button at any time
while watchin g te levision pro grammes will
switch the TV set betw een displa ying the
digital terres trial television broadcastin g and
its normal analogue broadcas ting.

Information Banner on DTV

• Whenever you change channel, using the P-
/ P+ butto n or the numeric buttons, the TV
displays the broadcast pict ure along with an
informa tion bann er at the botto m o f t he
screen. Thi s will remain on the screen for
approximately three seco nds.
• The inf orma tio n ba nner can als o be
displayed at any time while watc hing TV by
press ing the bu tton on t he remo te
control:
