Setting the Ringer to Silent or Reduced
Volume When Takingthe Phone Out of Your
Bag
Your phone can automatically stop ringer or lower the volume when you
take your phone out of your bag, the inner pocket of your jacket, or other
dark places.
To activate this feature:
1. From the Standby mode, press the center of the cursor key to display
the top menu.
2. Select the Settings icon and press .
3. Highlight Others and press .
4. Highlight Light Sensor and press .
5. Highlight your desired option ON or OFF (deactivate this feature) and
press .
Note:This setting can be s et independently in the Environment and
Normalmode, and ar e not available in the Silent All mode.
Tip: Clicking on Information? displays information about thi s setting.
Changing the Menu Language
When you first turn your phone on, the menus are displayed in English.
To change the menu language to Spanish:
1. From the Standby mode, press the center of the cursor key to display
the top menu.
2. Select the Settings icon and press .
3. Highlight Others and press .
4. Highlight Language and press .
5. Highlight Español and press .
