7 Press the number buttons to fill in the number of the month, then the day then the year.

• For dates with only one number (1-9) press the (0) button first, then the date.

For example, if today is July 8 "1997, press (0)(7)(0)(8)(9)(7). The correct day of the week will appear by itself.

8Press the GUIDE button.

The VCR clock is now set, and should show the correct time of day on the VCR'sdisplay.

1 Press the POWER button to turn on the VCR.
