Installing Mass Storage Devices

5Slide the drive completely into the bottom shelf and secure it with the screws provided with the device.

6If a device was removed from the middle shelf, replace it.

7If no device was removed from the middle shelf, replace the RFI bezel.

8Install any other accessories before replacing the cover. Reconnect all cables and power cords.

Configuring the Device or Devices you have installed

After installing an IDE drive or a flexible disk drive, you will need to run the Setup program to autotype or to configure the device. Refer to chapter 4, “The HP Setup Program” for details of how to do this.
