Adding Multi-Initiator Support
In a multi-initiator configuration, multiple SCSI host bus adapters (HBA) are connected to the same SCSI bus. Multi-initiator is supported for A6828A HBAs having part number A6828A-60101 or higher.
Multi-initiator is not supported for HP A6828A SCSI HBA with part number A6828A-60001.
If you need multi-initiator support for an Itanium®-based system, follow the steps mentioned in the section, “Multi-Initiator Support for Itanium‚-Based System” on page 54.
If you need multi-initiator support for a PA-RISC based system, follow the steps mentioned in the section, “Multi-Initiator Support for PA-RISC Based System” on page 54.
