Supported configurations
Three hosts: CM, application, Resolve
This solution uses three hosts: one each for the Cell Manager, Resolve Agent, and application. Although this configuration requires three machines, the Resolve host can be a less expensive host and the resource load is split, helping you avoid performance impact on the application.
Note that in this configuration, the Cell Manager host can be running any of the operating systems supported by Data Protector. The application and Resolve Agent hosts must be running
