316The receiving product is setup to initiate document transmission, but it has detected that the sending product is not able to receive a document. This error should be very rare since normally a sending product will not answer if it cannot receive a document. On of the few exceptions to this would occur if the sending product was configured to poll transmit a document but was unable to receive.

Configure the sending product for reception. Typically the sender should ensure paper is loaded in the product, paper jams are fixed, and any other system abnormalities are cleared.
