Use an Optional CompactFlash Card

Use an optional CompactFlash (CF) card to

create a LAN connection with a CompactFlash LAN card, which requires that your PC is configured for a network connection and has an Ethernet card and that you have an Ethernet hub or a crossover cable

create a modem connection with a CompactFlash modem card, which requires a phone line and a dial-up Internet Service Provider (ISP)

increase the memory capacity of your Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC with a CompactFlash memory card

With a CF card, you must connect to a LAN or the Internet with a cable (Ethernet or phone line).

Install a CompactFlash card

CAUTION: We recommend that you connect your Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC to the AC adapter when installing the expansion pack.

1.Install the CompactFlash (CF) Card Expansion Pack

2.Insert a CF card into the CF Card Expansion Pack

Push the connection edge of the card firmly into the expansion pack slot.

Remove a CompactFlash card

1.Close all applications using the CompactFlash (CF) card

2.Pull the CF card from the expansion pack
