Selecting a Point of Interest

1.Tap the middle of the Main screen.

2.Tap the Navigate to... icon, then tap Point of interest.

3.Tap a category and then tap an item from the displayed list. Use the browser buttons to view all items displayed. If the item you are looking for is not displayed, enter the first few letters of the name at the top of the screen.

NOTE: The POI browser only shows the nearest points of interest, not all of them. If your name does not display in the list, you may have to enter more letters of the name before it appears in the list.

Finding an Address

In GPS Navigation, you find an address by going from a general description to a specific description. In other words, you first specify the city or postal code area, then the street name, and then the house number or crossing.

1.Using the Thumb keyboard, tap the first letters of the city, town, or village.

2.When the name you are looking for appears in the list below, tap it to select it.

3.Tap the first few letters of the street name.

4.When the name you are looking for appears in the list below, tap it to select it.

NOTE: GPS Navigation is capable of finding streets even if the names are incomplete or misspelled. If you are looking for a street named “Avenue de Mazagran,” start entering “Maz” and do not enter Avenue.

5.Tap the house number or tap the Crossing button and enter the names of two intersecting streets for a precise location.

6.When the name you are looking for appears in the list below, tap it to select it.
