Using Media Center Help

When you select the Help icon in Media Center, the Help Center window opens. From here you can access local help files located on your PC as well as help files found on the Internet.

The help categories are:

Help: Find help on using Media Center from files located on your PC.

Community: Visit Media Center forums and get help online.

Tips: Go to the Microsoft Web site for helpful tips about using Media Center.

Hardware: Find support information about your Media Center PC hardware.

Opening Media Center Help

1 Press the Media Center Start button on the remote control.

2 Move the mouse to show the Media Center navigation bar, and then select the Help (?) icon from any window in Media Center.

4 When Media Center Help files appear, use your mouse, keyboard, or your remote control to select a help category.

5 Select a help topic.
