To print the network configuration page from the control panel

If the device has a two-line display: Press the Setup button, select Network Setup, select Print Network Settings, and then press OK.

If the device has a color display: Press the Setup button, select Network, select View Network Settings, select Print Network Configuration Page, and then press OK.

Channel range definitions

The following table lists the 802.11 Wireless channel range definitions.

The first digit stands for Locale Number

Locale 0: Channels 1-11:

high-power 802.11b

low-power 802.11g

Locale 1: Channels 1-13:

low-power 802.11b

low-power 802.11g

Locale 2: Channels 1-14:

low-power 802.11b

low-power 802.11g

NOTE: 802.11g is not allowed on channel 14.

The second digit stands for Ad-Hoc Compatibility Mode

The third digit stands for Infrastructure Rate Restriction

The fourth digit stands for Ad-Hoc Rate Restriction

Configure network options

You can manage network settings for the device through the control panel as described in the next section. Additional advanced settings are available in the embedded Web server, a configuration and status tool you access from your Web browser using an existing network connection to the device. For more information, see Embedded Web server.

Change basic network settings

The control-panel options enable you to set up and manage a wireless connection and to perform a variety of network management tasks. This includes viewing the network settings, restoring the network defaults, turning the wireless radio on and off, and changing the network settings.
