Introduction

The Printing Tools are a collection of printer description files, applications, and fonts.

•The Image Utility for OS X — enables you to transfer (download) files in various formats directly to the print server, or save them to PostScript format files for downloading later. This utility also enables you to apply transformation options (such as scaling, rotation, mirroring) prior to downloading.

•Printer Description Files — describe printers to the Apple LaserWriter driver (supplied with your operating system).

•Digital Typeface Corporation (DTC) MasterWorks fonts

— a collection of PostScript Type 1 compatible fonts. These fonts are factory-installed on the RIP, but you must also install a font on your computer to use and display it on your computer’s monitor.
