Appendix D. Format of the Output Document File

This appendix contains General-use Programming Interface and Associated Guidance Information.

Although ACIF can create three separate output files, only one of th required. ACIF always creates a print file in AFP data stream format ACIF may create the following structured fields:

Ÿ Tag Logical Element (TLE)

Ÿ Begin Named Group (BNG)

ŸEnd Named Group (ENG)

The	TLE was described in				Appendix C, “Format of the Index Object File
page 191;		the	other	two	structured	fields will be described later
The	examples on the next				two pages	illustrate the two possible AFP d
document		formats	ACIF	may	produce.
