Using the Timer Functions

Caution

You cannot change the settings to the current time or turn off time during playback timer or recording timer operation.

The timer functions can only be used with an z-connected Integra/Onkyo cassette tape deck or MD recorder.

Please make sure that the system is properly connected. The playback timer and recording timer will not function if connections are incomplete

Types of timers

SLEEP:

Puts the system into standby mode at the

 

preset time.

 

The sleep timer is activated by the Sleep

 

button.

(Playback)

 

ONCE:

Activates only once after setting.

WEEKDAY: Activates playback timer during weekdays (mon-fri).

You can change particular days of the week. WEEKEND: Activates playback timer during weekends.

You can change particular days of the weekend.

You can set WEEKDAY and WEEKEND times to the same day.

(Recording)

REC: Can be set to ONCE, or EVERY. Setting to ONCE, activates the record timer only once. Set to EVERY to record at a particular time everyday.

About the timer display

When pressing Timer repeatedly to display the various times, a lit TIMER indicator means that the time is set.

Using the Sleep Timer

 

Press Sleep.

display for about 5 seconds, which means the

 

 

unit will turn off and enter standby mode in 90

 

minutes. Also the SLEEP indicator is lit in the

 

display while the sleep timer is On.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Each press of the Sleep button makes the remaining time shorter by 10 minutes. Press the Cursor 5/buttons to adjust the time in 1 minute intervals.

Checking the remaining time

Press Sleep while the Sleep Timer is On.

If you press Sleep while the remaining time is displayed, the remaining time is reduced by 10 minutes.

Canceling the Sleep Timer

Press Sleep repeatedly until the SLEEP indicator goes off.
