AStandby/On button (37)

Sets the AV receiver to On or Standby.

BStandby indicator (37)

Lights up when the AV receiver is on Standby and flashes while a signal is being received from the remote controller.

CZone 2 indicator (80)

Lights up when Zone 2 is on.

DRemote-control sensor (7)

Receives control signals from the remote controller.

EStereo button (56)

Selects the Stereo listening mode.

FListening Mode []/[] buttons (56)

Select the listening modes.

GDisplay

See “Display” on page 9.

HDimmer button (54)

Adjusts the display brightness.

IMemory button (52)

Used when storing or deleting radio presets.

JTuning Mode button (47)

Selects the Auto or Manual tuning mode for AM and FM radio.

KDisplay button (55)

Displays various information about the currently selected input source.

LSetup button

Opens and closes the onscreen setup menus, which are displayed on the connected TV.

MArrow/Tuning/Preset and Enter buttons

When AM, FM, or XM is selected, the Tuning [] [] buttons are used for radio tuning, and the Pre- set [] [] buttons are used to select radio presets (see page 52). With the onscreen setup menus, they work as arrow buttons and are used to select and set items. The Enter button is also used with the onscreen setup menus.

NReturn button

Selects the previously displayed onscreen setup menu.

OMaster Volume control (46)

Sets the volume of the AV receiver to dB, –81 dB, –80 dB through +18 dB (relative display).

The volume level can also be displayed as an abso- lute value. See “Volume Setup” on page 74.

PZone 2 and Off buttons (80)

The Zone 2 button is used to turn on Zone 2 and select the input source for Zone 2.

The Off button is used to turn off Zone 2.

QPhones jack (55)

This 1/4-inch phone jack is for connecting a stan- dard pair of stereo headphones for private listening.

RZone 2 Level []/[] buttons (81)

Set the volume of the Zone 2 speakers.

STone, [], and [+] buttons (63)

Used to adjust the bass and treble.
