The devices on I2C bus of the memory module provide system management software with module

operating temperature, DIMM configuration, and field replacement unit (FRU) data. The devices

also provide

• time and date the module was manufactured

• name of the module manufacturer

• name and description of the module

• serial number of the module

• part number of the module
