RSS-210 Compliance Statement

The term “IC:” before the certification/registration number only signifies that Industry Canada technical specifications were met. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: 1) This device may not cause interference; and 2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.

Transmitter Antenna

To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type and its gain should be so chosen that the equivalent isotropically radiated power (EIRP) is not more than that required for successful communication. This device has been designed to operate with an antenna having a maximum gain of 5dBi. Antenna having a higher gain is strictly prohibited per regulations of Industry Canada. The required antenna impedance is 50 ohms.

IC Radiation Exposure Statement

This equipment complies with IC RSS-102 radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20 cm between the radiator and your body. This device and its antenna(s) must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.

R&TTE Compliance Statement

This equipment complies with all the requirements of Directive 1999/5/EC of the European Parliament and the Council of March 9, 1999, on radio equipment and telecommunication terminal equipment (R&TTE) and the mutual recognition of their conformity. The R&TTE directive repeals and replaces Directive 98/13/EEC (Telecommunications Terminal Equipment and Satellite Earth Station Equipment) as of April 8, 2000.

EU Countries Intended for Use
