4.5 General Configuration

Double-click the General icon to display the login window, then enter your username and password. The default values: Username = admin; Password = 1234.

After entering the username and password, the General configuration screen (above) will display, presenting basic MFP server information. You can configure the server name, username and password here.

Server Name is the name of the MFP server. You can use this name to identify the MFP server when searching for the MFP server using the Server Manager utility.

User Name/Password is used to authenticate the administrator to log in to the MFP server to configure it from the Server Manager utility or the Web Management tool.
