Thishand-heldcomputeroffersaneasytoreadLiquid
CrystalDisplay(LCD)withtouchscreen.Thedisplay
shows statusmessages,keyed-inentries,customerorprod-
uctlists,calculations,and promptsfor responses.Thetouch
screencanbeusedwithastylus,oryourfingertochoose
functions,recordsignatures,orenterdata.
Adjustingthecontrastsettingforthedisplayisdoneby
pressingthegoldShiftkeyandtapeitherthe1(increase)or
2(decrease)keyuntil youachievethedesiredlevel. Of
course,thiswill dependonifthesekeyshavenotbeenpro-
grammedforotherfunctions.

Backlight

Yourhand-heldcomputerdisplayandkeyboardcomes
equippedwitha backlight.Backlightingprovidesagreat
benefitindarkconditions.
Backlightingdoes,however,reducebatterylife,therefore,
turnoff thebacklightwhendoneusing.
Toturnthebacklighton,pressthegoldShiftkeyandthe3
key.Toturnthebacklightoff,pressgoldShiftandthe3key
again.Theamountoftimethebacklightstaysonbefore
shuttingitselfoff is setandcontrolledthroughtheConfig-
urationProgram.
Battery
