Removing PC Cards

The PC card compartment contains ejector buttons for re- moving the cards from the slots (see Figure 2-9 for location). The bottom slot also has a plastic latch called an ATA latch, which retains the card in the slot. This latch must be pressed before you can remove the card from the slot. The latch is to prevent the card which contains the Operating System from being removed accidentally.

Press in on the ejector button to release and eject the card. The button will eject the card far enough so you can pull it the rest of the way with your fingers.
