Connecting the Printer to your System

The EasyCoder PD41 is fitted with a USB Type B connector for the USB interface port and one 9-pin D-style subminiature (DB9) socket for the RS-232 serial interface port. In addition to this the printer is, depending on configuration, fitted with a 36- pin Centronics socket for the parallel (IEEE 1284) port and/or an RJ-45 socket for the Ethernet network connection. Information on the socket and connector types can be found in Appendix D, “Interfaces.”
