•The oven rackscan be cleaned in the oven. However,the oven rockswilldiscolor, loseshininess,and become difficultto slide in and out if left in the oven duringthe

cleaningprocess. REMOVE RACKS FROM OVEN IF THIS DISCOLORATION WILL BE OBJECTIONABLE. As a suggestion,do not leave the rocks inthe oven

duringeach self-cleaningprocessifthey do not need to be cleaned sincetheywill discolorafterthefirstcleaning. Moderatelysoiledrackscanbe cleanedwitha soapy S.O.S. pad or Scotch-Britescour-pad. Stubbornstainsneed to be removedin the self-cleaningprocess. Be sure to read specialtips on page 31 if oven racksare cleaned duringthe self-cleaningprocess.

To set oven to start cleaning immediately:

3.Touch Clean Pad.

IndicatorWords SET CLEAN TIME willflash and Displaywillshow :

After three seconds, the ON IndicatorWord will come on and the oven willbegin to clean. The LOCK IndicatorWord will come on when the oven reachescleaning

temperatures.

Note: If door lever is not in lockedposition,"door"willflash in the Display.

4. If youwishto changecleaningtime after the wordON hasappeared inthe display, then a) touch Clean Pad; b) touchthe Up or Down Arrow Pads,

(Range is from 2 hoursfor lightsoil up to 4 hoursfor heavysoil,)

Example: If you select to self-cleanyour ovenfor 4 hours,the Displaywillshow:

When the clean function has been completed, the Indicator Words CLEAN and ON will gooff. The Indicator Word LOCK will remain onuntil the oven has cooled down.
