6 Maintenance
Precondition: READY / CLEAN is displayed and the maintenance button c lights up.
cT Press the maintenance button.
EMPTY TRAY
TEmpty the drip tray and coffee grounds container and put them back into the machine.
PRESS RINSE, the maintenance button c lights up.
TPlace a receptacle under the coffee spout and the frother. c T Press the maintenance button.
CLEANING, water flows from both coffee spouts. The process is interrupted, ADD TABLET.
TOpen the cover of the filler funnel for
TInsert a JURA cleaning tablet into the filler funnel.
TClose the cover of the filler funnel.
cT Press the maintenance button.
CLEANING, water flows from both coffee spouts several times.
The process is interrupted – EMPTY TRAY.
TEmpty the drip tray and coffee grounds container and put them back into the machine.
The cleaning operation is now complete. The IMPRESSA is ready for use again.
You can initiate the ‘Cleaning the machine’ operation manually.
Precondition: READY is displayed.
TOpen the cover of the Rotary Switch.
kT Keep the Rotary Switch pressed until RINSE appears.
kT Press the Rotary Switch to enter the programme item.
gT Turn the Rotary Switch until CLEAN is displayed. k T Press the Rotary Switch.
EMPTY TRAY
T Close the cover of the Rotary Switch.
T Continue with the second prompt to take action (indi- cated by a T), as is described under ‘Cleaning following a prompt’.
