Using an Optional Keyboard

You can connect a keyboard with the PS/2 plug to the KEYBOARD terminal inside the front door (see page 9). You can use the following keys to operate this unit for Edit and Search Modes.

•You can use such a keyboard as a PS/2 US101 keyboard or an equivalent. However, the keyboard connected to this unit must be a type of DC 5 V and less than 100 mA.

F1 : Enter Album Title Edit Mode (see page 74). Press again to exit from Edit Mode.

F2 : Enter Track Title Edit Mode (see page 74). Press again to exit from Edit Mode.

F3 : Enter Library Name Edit Mode (see page 75). Press again to exit from Edit Mode.

F5 : Enter Album Number Search (see page 75). Press again to exit from Search Mode.

F6 : Enter Album Title Search (see page 75). Press again to exit from Search Mode.

:While selecting a library, used to select library numbers.

:While selecting an album, functions in the same way as the ALBUM + / – buttons on the remote control.

:While selecting a track, functions in the same way as the SELECT 4/ ¢buttons on the remote control.
