9￿After turning on this unit, temporary recording will automatically take place for only the time duration that has been set while you are watching TV.

9￿You can play back missed scenes (RetroActive Playback), or record from the beginning of the programme you are currently watching (RetroActive Recording).

Setting Time Range for Temporary Recording

A Access the setup menu.

To play back the previous part of a TV programme currently watching (RetroActive Playback)

A Search for the playback position, then start playback.

0You can also perform Resuming Playback

[ P59] and One Touch Replay [ P59].

To record the previous part of a TV programme currently watching (RetroActive Recording)

While watching a TV broadcast,

A Search for the record start point, then set to pause.

B Start recording.

WHILE HOLDING

0You can also use REC (R) on the unit.

0Returns to the on-air screen after a few seconds.

C End recording.

0When recording is in progress on the DVD, temporary recording stops.

0Temporary recording data will be automatically erased, in the following instances.

When the unit is turned off, or after recovering from a power failure.

When normal recording, timer recording, RetroActive Recording or digital timer recording is performed.
