Selecting a Shooting Mode
Selecting the Full Auto/Manual Shooting ModeThere are two adjustment modes for shooting, namely the Full Auto and Manual modes.
Setting to the Full Auto shooting modeWhen [FULL AUTO] is pressed once, the current adjustment mode is displayed. Pressing [FULL AUTO] while the mode is displayed changes the setting.
1 Press [FULL AUTO] to display the Full Auto shooting mode icon (A) at the top of the screen.
Exposure, aperture, shutter speed, and white balance are adjusted automatically.
FULL AUTO
Setting to the Manual shooting mode1 Press [FULL AUTO] to display the Manual shooting mode icon (M) at the top of the screen.
●Even when the Manual shooting mode is set, the aperture and shutter speed are adjusted automatically if their icons are not displayed.
●To adjust the shutter speed manually, press the [SHUTTER] button to display and change the value. (A Page 35)
●To adjust the aperture manually, press the [IRIS A/M] button
and change the value with the iris dial. (A Page 36)

There are two focusing modes, namely Auto and Manual.
Setting to the Auto Focus mode1 Press [AF/MF] to display the Auto Focus icon (AF) on the screen.
Focus is adjusted automatically.

Setting to the Manual Focus mode1 Press [AF/MF] to display the Manual Focus icon (MF) on the screen.
