Frame Rec

In normal recording, when the recording stops, the image and accompanying data from the start till the end of the recording are recorded as one AclipB on the SDHC/SDXC card.

In this mode, recording starts with every press of [REC], and only the specfied number of frames is recorded. The recording can be written to the media as a single clip until it is stopped.

4 Resume recording. (Recording 2)

Press the [REC] button again to resume recording. The display changes from ASTBYCB (yellow text) BARECCB.

The card slot status indicator continues to blink in green.

5 Pause recording.

Press the [REC] button again to pause recording. The display changes from ARECCBBASTBYCB (yellow text).

The card slot status indicator continues to blink in green.

6 Resume recording. (Recording 3)

Press the [REC] button again to resume recording. The display changes from ASTBYCB (yellow text) BARECCB.

The card slot status indicator continues to blink in green.

7 Press and hold the [REC] button or press the user button that is assigned with ARec StopB to stop the recording. (A Page 19)

Recording stops and the display changes from ARECCBBASTBYCB. A AclipB is generated.

The card slot status indicator lights up in green.

8 Press the [REC] button again.

The status display changes from ASTBYCBBARECCB and the card slot status indicator blinks in green.

A new AclipB is generated from here.

Memo :

Audio cannot be recorded.

Until a specified amount of recordings is accumulated, the file will not be written to the media.

If the specified amount is not reached when recording is stopped, normal recording is performed and frames are added to the ending of the clip until the amount is reached. (Padding)

After the specified number of frames is recorded and written to the media, recording will be performed until the same number is accumulated again.

Note :

Do not remove the SDHC/SDXC card during recording (RECC, red text) or recording pause (STBYC, yellow text).

To remove the SDHC/SDXC card in AClip ContinuousB mode, press the user button assigned with ARec StopB or press and hold the [REC] button, check that ASTBYCB (white text) is displayed and the card slot status indicator is lighted in green before you remove the card.

When the SDHC/SDXC card becomes full during recording, recording stops and ASTOPB is displayed.

When the power is turned off during recording or recording pause, recording stops and power is cut off after a clip is generated.

If the power is cut off due to low battery power, a proper clip may not be generated.

Specified amount of data

1 Set [Rec Mode] to AFrame RecB.

The status display changes from ASTBYBBASTBYFB.

2 Set the number of frames to record in [Rec Frames].

3 Start recording.

Press the [REC] button to record only the number of frames specified in [Rec Frames] and pause.

The status display changes from
