Time Code Recording

Using a Headphone

 

Setting

 

 

 

Applicable to: Camera mode, Media mode

1 Connect the headphone.

Connect the headphone to the headphone ( ) jack.

Headphone Jack

2 Set the headphone sound to mixed sound or stereo sound.

Set using [Audio Monitor] in the [A/V Out] menu. (AMixB/AStereoB) (A Page 73)

3 Adjust the headphone’s audio level. (Linked to built-in speaker)

Operate with the [ADJ./VOL.] knob.

Displaying the Time Code/User’s Bit

Menu setting

1 Set [LCD/VF] menu B[Status Display]B[TC/UB] to ATCB or AUBB. (A Page 72)

ATCB: Displays the time code.

AUBB: Displays the user’s bit.

Recording the Time Code

The time code of the camera recorder’s built-in time code generator as well as user’s bit can be recorded. The time code generator comes in the preset and regeneration modes. When in the preset mode, you can set the time code and user’s bit freely. (A Page 40)

1 Set [TC Generator] in the [TC/UB] menu to ARec RunB or AFree RunB. (A Page 69)

ARec RunB:The time code operates in the run mode only during recording.

AFree RunB:The time code operates in the run mode at all times.

Memo :

The built-in speaker is usable only in the Media mode. Audio is not output from the built-in speaker during Camera mode.

Audio level in the Camera mode and Media mode can be adjusted separately.

When in the Media mode, the volume of the headphone and speaker are adjusted at the same time.

The built-in speaker cannot be used when the [HDMI] terminal, [A/V Out] terminal, or headphone jack is

connected.

Recording time code in continuation of the recorded time code on the SDHC/SDXC card

1 Set [TC Generator] in the [TC/UB] menu to ARegenB. (A Page 69)

Memo :

When recording is stopped and the SDHC/SDXC card is removed, the time code will be displayed as follows. ARec RunB : Time code generated when the recording

was last stopped.

ARegenB : Sets to 00:00:00:00.

AFree RunB : Operates in the run mode at all times.
