Select The Soundtrack

Your VCR can record two soundtracks simultaneously (Normal and Hi-Fi) and play back the selected one, or both together.

	ACCESS MAIN MENU
1	SCREEN
	Press MENU during playback or when VCR is in stop
	mode.

	● If the VCR Plus+ screen appears press MENU again.

		ACCESS FUNCTION SET
	2	SCREEN
		Place the arrow next to "FUNCTION SET" by pressing
		SET+/–, then press SELECT.
		ACCESS AUDIO MONITOR
		SCREEN
		Place the arrow next to	FUNCTION
		"AUDIO MONITOR" by	AUTO TIMER
	3 pressing SET+/–, then		SUPERIMPOSE
	3 pressing SET+/–, then		2ND AUDIO
		press SELECT.	=AUDIO MONITOR
			TAPE DUB MODE
			SPECIAL FUNCTION
			HI-FI REC LEVEL
			PRESS (SELECT, SET+/–)
			PRESS (MENU) TO END

		SELECT MODE
		You have three choices:	AUDIO MONITOR
		a– Hi-Fi	AUDIO MONITOR
		a– Hi-Fi	=HI-FI
	4 b– Normal		=HI-FI
	4 b– Normal		NORM
		c– Mix	MIX
		Place the arrow next to
		your choice by pressing	PRESS (SET+/–) FOR CHOICE
		SET+/–.	PRESS (MENU) TO END

		RETURN TO NORMAL
		SCREEN
	5 Press MENU as many times as necessary.

NOTES:

●If the tape being played back has no Hi-Fi soundtrack, the Normal soundtrack will be heard no matter what choice you make at the Audio Monitor screen.

●If you select "HI-FI" or "MIX", the L and R symbols near the audio level meters will be illuminated.

●If RF connection is used for TV, even if Hi-Fi audio monitor is selected the sound will be mono and will be reproduced in both loudspeakers.
