■Operating other Manufacturers’ Equipment
By changing the transmittable signals, you can use the remote control supplied for this unit to operate other manufacturers’ equipment.
•Refer also to the manuals supplied for the other products.
•To operate those components with the remote control, first you need to set the manufacturers’ codes each for DVD player, STB, VCR, and TV.
•After replacing batteries of the remote control, set the manufacturers’ codes again.
❏Changing the transmittable signals for operating a DVD player
1 Press and hold DVD .
2 Press DVD.
3 Enter manufacturer’s code using buttons 1 – 9, and 0.
4 Release DVD .
Now, you can perform the following operations on the DVD player.
DVD : Turn on or off the DVD player.
PLAY : Start playback.
STOP : Stop playback.
PAUSE : Pause playback. To release it, press PLAY.
¢: Skip to the beginning of the next chapter.
4: Return to the beginning of the current (or previous) chapter.

Refer also to the manual supplied with your DVD player.
After pressing DVD MENU with the RDS/DVD MENU selector set to “DVD MENU,” these buttons can be used for the DVD menu operations.

When your DVD player turns on or off, you have entered the correct code.

4 Release STB .
Now, you can perform the following operations on the STB.
STB | : Turn on or off the STB. |
CHANNEL +/– | : Change the channels. |

1 – 10, 0, +10 (+100) : Select the channels.

5Try to operate your STB by pressing STB

When your STB turns on or off, you have entered the correct code.
If there are more than one code listed for your brand of STB,
try each one until the correct one is entered.
