Installing the PC-Linq Software and Driver in an External PC

If you connect an external PC to the Mobile mini note PC via the DATA LINK port of the USB Port Replicator, you must install the PC-Linq software and driver on the external PC as well as instructed below.

STEP 1A

Start the PC you want to connect to.

Insert the software CD-ROM into the CD-ROM driver of the PC you have just started.

STEP 2A

Supply power to USB Port Replicator using the AC power adapter. Then connect the external PC to the DATA LINK port of the USB Port Replicator using the USB cable.

STEP 3A

The external PC finds the USB Bridge Cable (USB device) of the USB Port Replicator.

This wizard helps you install the device driver.

Select “Install the software automatically [Recommended]”. Click Next to continue.
